About

Focus, background, and approach

TLDR: I enjoy learning and building.

I believe in systematic approaches to solving problems. I've spent over 2 years learning how to learn (which sounds paradoxical, but I highly encourage everyone to try it). The information I gained is the basis for my problem solving abilities. If you're interested in this kind of stuff, I recommend reading the book "The Art of Learning."

I was introduced to programming in 2022 through blockchain technology, more specifically, smart contracts and cryptocurrencies. I then transitioned to full stack web development. I built many small projects to solve everyday tasks and, eventually, larger ones to solve more complicated problems. Through this, I developed a focus on user experience and providing holistic solutions that work. The languages I primarily use are JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Go. My current interests as of 2025 focus on backend development, networking, and development tools.

Beyond building, I enjoy writing and doing grappling sports. They give me the opportunity to develop personal playgrounds, kind of like a mental sandbox for my ideas.

My passion for programming comes from the act of creation. The ability to transform an idea into a fully working product is something I really enjoy. Combining this with all of the available resources on the internet gives me a sense of freedom that is difficult to explain but easy to show. I hope to share this passion with others.
